A set of early Frank Hurley train images published in Lone Hand 1911

the article was accompanied by an article whereby Frank explained his daring technique of capturing these images of moving locomotives -positioning himself on the track and waiting for the last second to take the photo and then jumping out of the way of the approaching locomtive.
